About Us
Coral Community Federal Credit Union is a not for profit cooperative financial institution. We have been serving the medical community and their family members for more than 40 years. We were organized in 1975 as Holy Cross Employees Federal Credit Union, in 2004 we became a community charter credit union and changed our name to Coral Community Federal Credit Union. Through it all our mission has always been to serve all our members with equality and respect. We take pride in providing sound financial products and services that are beneficial and tailored to the growing needs of our membership.
Membership in Coral Community Federal Credit Union is open to the following boundaries in the Broward County area:
Anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school, or has business within the area North of Griffin Road to Hillsborough Blvd, East of Weston Road to A1A, the Eastern border of University between the Sawgrass Expressway and Sunrise Blvd. Areas not presently included in our Field of Membership are portions of Sunrise and Coral Springs, Tamarac, Parkland and Port Everglades.
As a member of Coral Community Federal Credit Union you are actually an owner. Your membership equals one vote at our annual membership meeting to select members to sit on the voluntary Board of Directors. In other words your opinion matters. We invite you to join our family and experience the quality service you deserve from your financial institution.
To join, simply open a regular share (savings) account at the credit union with at least $5.00 deposit. Once you join you may remain a member for life, even if you leave your job, retire, or move out of the area. As long as you keep your account active, the full range of benefits are available to you.
The Credit Union Difference
How is a credit union different than a bank? Credit unions are not-for-profit organizations that exist to serve their members. Like banks, credit unions accept deposits, make loans and provide a wide array of other financial services. But as member-owned and cooperative institutions, credit unions provide a safe place to save and borrow at reasonable rates.
Member Owned
Credit unions are owned and controlled by the people, or members, who use their services.
Credit unions operate to promote the well-being of their members.
Cooperative
The cooperative structure of credit unions creates a cycle of mutual assistance towards the common goal of the financial well-being of members.
Not-For-Profit
Profits made by credit unions are returned back to members in the form of reduced fees, higher savings rates and lower loan rates.
In essence, it's THEIR bank but it's YOUR Credit Union!
Where We Are
We make it easy to access your account no matter where you are.
